The Wicklow Mountains (in the fall) have given me a good first place of extraordinary beauty. A wow effect. Rugged mountains, mighty valleys, a vast landscape of rugged peaks, purple moor, it’s mighty pretty. And the Wicklow Mountains have a history: the Irish rebels hiding here for the English. A spy into the Wicklow Mountains
Sally Gap is one of the two roads running through the Wicklow Mountains. In the North, you come out on Dublin West is Blessington, South Glendalough is and if you go east you come to Roundwood. The road is also known as the Military Road, because it was built by the British to expel the Irish rebels from the hills. When we get to the P.S. I love you bridge I do not know where to look. While the whole bus almost running goes to the Ps I love you bridge, my friend and I walk to the other side, where we see emerge a rainbow in the mountains, the mountain is so orange that there is a pot of gold should be. Unfortunately, we are the picture just too late.
The bridge where Holly and Gerry meet in the film PS I love you. Due to excessive tourism not had the chance to get a nice picture on the bridge shooting: /
We drive to Lough Tay, a small lake in the Wicklow Mountains in County Wicklow. It lies between two mountains: Djouce and Luggala. 70% of the second season of the hit series Vikins was shot here. Lough Tay is also called Guinness Lake, because it is part of the Guinness estate.
One might dare camp. The wind blows so hard that would be afraid that I’m going to be blown away with tent and all the mountain
Jayh the rainbow is back. Do you see the golden hills?
Do you recognize the scene of Vikings?
Glendalough is the Irish valley in the Wicklow Mountains. It is about 40 kilometers from Dublin. Glendalough you find a monastery founded by St. Kevin, whose relics are among the oldest Christian relics in Europe. The Glendalough name means’ valley of two lakes. The valley extends over 3 km. After a walk of 20 minutes you arrive at the Upper Lake. In the distance we see a waterfall to the lake. Through the pouring rain we walk on, the attempt to shoot pictures failed due to the fog.
When a few minutes later stops raining we make another attempt to shoot beautiful pictures.
The walk in itself is already beautiful
You are constantly blown away
Jayh, the weather is getting better!
The Wicklow Mountains are a must if you have enough time, loves the mountains and in Dublin. We booked our trip traveling in the context of low budget in the Wicklow Mountains tour. For 28 euros you spend all day on the trail. I’m not like the tours, but I must say that this’m terribly becoming difficult due chaffeur Joe. Moreover, it is easy and to be honest I would not dare myself lol times on the left.
